Denial

Why do we strive,
For what may never be ours?
Live our lifetime in denial,
Falsely pass away the hours

We dream and think
Of a thousand it-could-be's
But never come to grip
With the reality

We're fools, and great ones at that
To think of what is as distant as Mars
So go on, wear your hat
Hide the sorrow, away you cower

She walks in beauty, we say
Of cloudless climes and starry skies
But dashed be that hope's ray
Failure we must see through our own eyes

I've been in the alley, long and dark,
Looking for my answer.
My truth was quite stark
Still I journey down the river

Humans are flawed creatures
Angels more even so
Is it the mindset, is it the culture,
That refuses to take the answer for no?

We love, we die
In the quest of that unattainable
We hate we cry
Even though we were never capable

It is my destiny
I can't forget that something shiny
There was a maiden fair
But why shall she dance with the bear?

When you realized it never really was possible
When acceptance is no longer a choice
Do you swallow the truth, or nibble?
With blood do your eyes moist?

We've all been through this
Expected something, accepted another
But in the end my brain does hiss
At the peculiar human nature
 But do you know
I'd rather live in denial
Than silently crow
Over my cause being left in a file

That was some deep shit right there

Rhyme Battles

Apparently during the worst of times I find it good to rhyme along with people.
Blog posts not so frequent 'cause exams

(Trebuchet- me, Bold, Akshaye)

Nothing really matters to me
I have seen my destiny
Not in the world not in my mind I am free
To all my enemies and friends I'm sorry
Into the world of death
Carry me
I drive you last into my lorry's
You do
And you see
The cow goes moo
And blue is the sea
This world is bland
Kinda useless
So is the food
I am but the hand
Of my mood

I taste the sea
In my pee
It feels like me
Tasted my sanity
It has rotted, it has died
The people the god all had lied
The mothers they cried
On death's chariot I ride
No place to hide
So I went
Yeah I went
Into the palace he dearly called his
A place of horror was this
But my life I will miss
Even if it was filled with piss
It had been long since I could feel even a kiss
So I told him to stop
And we stared
A little nervous, a little scared
There he stood behind his lair
Neigh said his mare
And my, he had no hair
That was the real scare
Blue eyes blue hat and brown skin
And with that physics defying grin
He lifted that bottle of gin
And threw it into a bin
"Tonight
We dine in hell"
Said that measly skel
Dine upon the droids that fell
The feast was grand but it felt mel
Goddarnit I said to my Dell
It hanged again like the King's Head
"Another Day"
"Another day  it wails
Oh the heavens oh the skies
In both the kingdoms the angel cries

This was a mistake

The Hangar Messiah - #1 "Ranting On Thin Ice"

I'm annoyed on the topic of annoyance.
Ok, say everybody made a plan. You told 'em, no, the Daitya can't do it. The whole group somehow does it. But, little do you know, half of them actually made plans of their own to NOT do that.

(Keep in mind- the act was something we could get punished for: No, the Daitya wasn't a coward but he knows what is possible and what is not)
So the other half completely forgets that I WAS THE GODDARN ONE WHO TRIED TO HELP THEM!
Guess what. The daitya got the BS end of it.
You're ready to do stuff. You say, alright, we can do this.
You're ready to help. But they don't want it. They "Don't fucking see it coming"
Alright. Alright. But don't fucking crap on your ready-to-be-saviour. (A Hangar Messiah, if you must)
Oh, but even if I did come, would you eat my soul out? Drink my blood and eat my flesh? (Sorry, for the offended religious people, but I had to do it)
Guess people don't fucking see it coming

I was there for you
But you turned your back
On an invitation
To your saving rack

You didn't heed thy warning
You went on ahead
But when it's time to get the scorning
Instead of the guilty, my name is said

I guess I'm ranting on thin ice
I guess the fault is really mine
But now, I don't need to be nice
Don't care if we leave here dyin'
