It's a little funny
How
Nobody ever asked how you did
But always expected the same in return
A little sad too
When that expectation turns to burn
It's not like I even was
Part of the machinery
Just a third wheel
A tasteless topping, a rotten cherry
Am I being antagonistic of myself?
Perhaps I'm not that bad
But when you fade from everyone's memory
You can't help but be sad
I don't even know
If they notice me anymore
A walking shadow
A soundless phantom
Tell me now
At least then I won't be fooled by deceptions
Reap and sow
No exceptions
Am I that bad?
That I am not worth caring for?
To be left in the tomb to rot and rot
For whom does the bell toll?
For whom does the choir sing?
For whom do the wolves call?
For whom does the bell toll?
The name called out is quite foreign
Perhaps cause' I never heard it called out before
For whom does the choir sing?
Melodies never belonged to me
Sing me a song of melancholy
For whom do the wolves call?
I always felt more like one of them
The woods never bothered me anyway
So,
Will you miss me when I'm gone?
Or will you leave me to be
An accidental friend, a blip in memory
A wrinkle in time, a sad stain
On the fabric of history
Will you miss me when I'm gone?
Or will you let me be?
Singing a song of
Endless melancholy

It is unknown where I gathered such negativity.
Nevertheless, it must be spread
